July 5, 2026 – DWI Arrest
At approximately 0015 hours, PO Burgo conducted a traffic stop on a 2004 white Chevrolet after observing the driver make a left turn from the El Meson parking lot onto Harrison Ave, crossing over the double solid yellow lines. The driver, Mr. Bayron R. Baquiax-Hernandez displayed signs of intoxication and was unable to successfully complete Standard Field Sobriety Tests. He was placed under arrest for DWI and was later released to a responsible party.
July 5, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
At approximately 1030 hours PO Montoya conducted a traffic stop on a black Nissan GTR after a random license inquiry revealed that the registered owner had an active ATS warrant in the amount of $1,000.00. Upon contact with the driver, it was confirmed that he was the registered owner, Mr. Janpier Velaquez. He was subsequently placed under arrest and later released after bail was posted on his behalf.
July 8, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
07/08/2026 – 0219 Hours: P.O. Anthony Cecere accepted custody of Ibn Shabazz from the Kearny Police Department on a Harrison warrant with $600 full cash bail. P.O. Santiago Gomez processed the prisoner. Shabazz was unable to post bail and was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility without incident.
July 8, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
07/08/2026 – 1844 Hours: P.O. Anthony Cecere, assisted by P.O. Connor McClelland, arrested Nuno Miguel on an active Hoboken warrant with $3,500 bail (10% permitted). During the arrest, officers recovered suspected cocaine concealed inside a cigarette pack. Miguel was additionally charged with Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility following processing.
July 8, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
07/08/2026 – 2254 Hours: P.O. Carlos Delgado, assisted by P.O. Jonathan Puglla and P.O. Connor McClelland, conducted a motor vehicle stop after observing the driver switch seats with the passenger. Investigation revealed Alshaquam McMillan had an active Domestic Violence warrant out of East Orange with $500 bail (10% permitted). McMillan was arrested, processed, posted 10% bail, and released with a new court date.
July 9, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
07/09/2026 – 0049 Hours: P.O. Anthony Cecere, assisted by P.O. Santiago Gomez, conducted a motor vehicle stop and arrested Jose Diazsanchez, who was wanted on multiple warrants issued by Rahway and Union Township. After processing, both agencies authorized his Release on Own Recognizance (ROR). Diazsanchez signed the required paperwork and was released.
July 9, 2026 – Warrant Arrest
07/09/2026 – 1025 Hours: P.O. Miguelangel Cosme accepted custody of Geneve Monfleury from the New Jersey State Police on a Harrison warrant with $600 full cash bail. Mr. Monfleury, posted bail, and he was released with a new court date.

07/09/2026 – 1919 Hours: P.O. Anthony Cecere, assisted by P.O. Connor McClelland and P.O. Nicole Yamuca, conducted a motor vehicle stop. Investigation revealed passenger Nyasia Stevenson had an active Newark warrant with $2,500 bail (10% permitted). Stevenson was arrested, processed, and later released on her own recognizance after authorization from Newark Police. The driver was issued a summons for driving while suspended.spended.

07/09/2026 – 2323 Hours: P.O. Anthony Cecere, assisted by P.O. Connor McClelland and P.O. Nicole Yamuca, conducted a motor vehicle stop that resulted in the arrest of Sarah Petro, who had an active North Arlington warrant with $750 full cash bail. Petro was processed, posted bail, and was released pending her scheduled court appearance.
