Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Paterson Police Officer-In-Charge Patrick Murray announce that on June 7, 2026, at approximately 8:22 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to the intersection of Madison Avenue and Third Avenue in Paterson, New Jersey on a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. When officers arrived, they located the victim, an unidentified male. The victim was transported to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision remained on scene.
This investigation is active and ongoing. More information will be released when it becomes available.
