
1. On 04/06/2026 at 8:48 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old male, Malik Ruiz of Irvington, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00. Mr. Ruiz was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
2. On 04/06/2026 at 2:08 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Essex County Jail to take into custody a 38-year-old male, Hassan Bates of East Orange, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00. Mr. Bates was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
3. On 04/09/2026 at 12:00 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Walkin Etienne of Jersey City, NJ for Receiving a Stolen Motor Vehicle [2C:20-10.2(a)] for operating a motor vehicle that was previously reported stolen. Mr. Etienne was also charged with Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. Mr. Etienne was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Etienne was issued 1 motor vehicle summons along with his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
4. On 04/09/2026 at 11:19 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old female, Hortensia Irrizarry-Peguero of Bay Shore, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Teaneck, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $350.00. Both Newark and East Orange Police did release Ms. Irrizarry-Peguero on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Ms. Irrizarry-Peguero was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses. Officers from the Teaneck Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Ms. Irrizarry-Peguero for transport back to their agency.
5. On 04/10/2026 at 9:50 AM, Officers from the Fort Lee Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road and transferred custody of a 31-year-old male, Wayne Cameron of North Bergen, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Cameron was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Cameron was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
6. On 04/10/2026 at 7:04 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Wagdy Khalifa of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Mr. Khalifa was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released.
7. On 04/10/2026 at 10:52 P.M., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old male, Michaelangelo Rivera of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Rivera was issued 12 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently released into the custody of a responsible adult.
8. On 04/11/2026 at 12:23 AM, Officers from the Kearny Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road to transfer custody of a 29-year-old male, Wilmer Batentzoc of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $2,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Batentzoc was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.
9. On 04/11/2026 at 6:04 PM, Secaucus Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on the Ramp from 1 Harmon Meadow Boulevard onto the Route 3 East Service Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Elvis Betances of West New York, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Betances was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was released from police custody.
10. On 04/11/2026 at 8:40 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Angel Morillo of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Hillside, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Hillside did release Mr. Morillo on his own recognizance pending a future court date. Mr. Morillo was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
