March 19, 2026, approximately 11:05 p.m., 400 block of Marshall Drive. Kevin Salamanca, 43, of Jersey City was arrested on a warrant out of Passaic City Municipal Court. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Mario Rodriguez and Valentino Salgado.

March 19, 2026, approximately 11:50 p.m., Pier 13, 1301 Sinatra Dr. Catherine Stewart, 44, of Hoboken was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She received summonses for driving while intoxicated, failure to exhibit documents, violating noise restrictions, opened/unsealed container of alcohol in the vehicle, and reckless driving. As per John’s Law, she was released into custody of a responsible party. Responding officers included Police Officers Adrian Comayagua and Zackary Guido.

March 20, 2026, approximately 2:10 a.m., 50 block of Washington Street. Aaron Crow, 23, of Ireland, was arrested for disorderly conduct. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and later released on a summons. Responding officers included Police Officers Anthony Olivera and Thomas Graziano

March 20, 2026, approximately 4:30 p.m., 600 block Madison Street. Elias Pinto, 19, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, resisting arrest by eluding, resisting arrest by flight, assault by auto, and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. He was also issued summonses for improper passing, wrong way on a one-way street, leaving the scene of an accident, unlicensed driver, and reckless driving. Abdiel Olea, 19, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, unlawful possession of weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, resisting arrest by eluding, resisting arrest by flight, assault by auto, and receiving a stolen motor vehicle. Both were ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Capt. David Olivera, Lt. Donald Rosso, Sgt. Daniel Grossi, Det. Joshua Campoverde, and Police Officers John Rodriguez, Valentino Salgado, Robert Cuevas, Alex Miller, Jessica Pizanie, and Mario Rodriguez.

March 20, 2026, approximately 9:25 p.m., Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St. Anjela Kivuitu, 39, of Hoboken was arrested for aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, defiant trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. She was found to have multiple warrants out of Newark. After being processed on the Hoboken charges, she was transported to Newark Police Headquarters and released into the custody of Newark Police for processing there.

March 20, 2026, approximately 12 p.m., Hoboken Police Headquarters. Josiah Ross, 20, of Jersey City, turned himself into Hoboken Police Headquarters to be processed on a complaint summons for the initial charge of theft by deception. The incident occurred in April of 2025 and was investigated by Det. Chelsea Tambora. After being processed, Ross was released from custody.

March 21, 2026, approximately 2:20 a.m., 100 block of Hudson Street. Janae Pesante, 36 of Orange, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, careless driving, reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, consent to taking of samples of breath, refusal to submit to test. As per John’s Law, Pesante was released into custody of a responsible party. Responding officers included Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Kevin Vargas and Zackery Guido.

March 21, 2026, approximately 2:40 a.m., Second and Hudson Streets. Katelyn Mancuo, 23, of Edgewater Park, was arrested for driving while intoxicated, failure to comply with directions of an officer, and careless driving. As per John’s Law she was released into the custody of a responsible party, on a summons. Responding officers included Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Ronald Kibitlewski, Ahmed Bhisey, Nicklas Valerius and Ricky Truppner,

March 21, 2026, approximately 9:20 a.m., Sixth and Madison Streets. Roberto Santiago, 40, of Jersey City, was arrested on a warrant for robbery out of Hoboken. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and fingerprint refusal. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Bianca Arroyo and Harry Montalvo.

March 21, 2026, approximately 5:30 p.m., 300 block of Monroe Street. Edgar Najera, 31, of Jersey City, was arrested for shoplifting at ACME, 614 Clinton St., earlier in the day. He was also charged with resisting arrest by flight, hindering by force, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was found to have warrants out of Secaucus and Weehawken. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding Officers included Police Officers John Rodriguez, Mario Rodriguez, Shyenna Vega, Anthony Hochstadter, Harry Montalvo, and Cynthia Rivera.

March 22, 2026, approximately 2:10 a.m., 500 block of Willow Avenue. Elyse Santiago, 25, of Bayonne was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and driving while using a handheld device. As per John’s Law, she was released into the custody of a responsible party. Responding officers included Sgt. Roary Miller and Police Officers Frank Lombardo, Nicklas Valerius, Zackary Guido, and Kevin Vargas.

March 22, 2026, approximately 9:40 a.m., 700 block of Washington Street. Julio Quezada, 46, of Union City, was arrested on a warrant out of Hoboken for the original charge of urinating in public. He was also issued a summons for failure to use crosswalk/jaywalking. He was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and released on bail. Responding officers included Police Officers Arturo Gonzalez, Jayden Gonzalez and Aaron Font.

March 22, 2026, approximately 3:55 p.m., Lululemon, 313 Washington St. Goevvain Morales, 31, of Staten Island was arrested for shoplifting. He was found to have warrants out of Paramus and Wayne. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Sgt. James Barbro and Police Officers Keven De La Cruz, Aaron Font, Alejandro Gonzalez, Ryan Capogna, and Cynthia Rivera.

March 23, 2026, approximately 5:20 p.m., ShopRite, 900 Madison St. Brandon Sanchez, 23, of Jersey City and Ashanti Tierra, 19, of Jersey City were arrested for shoplifting. After being processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters, both were released on a summons. Responding officers included Police Officers Enrico Gnassi, Michael Chen, Mark Mooreman, and Christopher Barral.

March 23, 2026, approximately 8:30 p.m., 300 block of Harrison Street. Erika Kennedy, 28, of Jersey City, was arrested on a warrant for driving while suspended. She was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and released on bail. Responding officers included Police Officer David Smentkowsi.

March 24, 2026, approximately 1:45 a.m., 600 block of Sixth Street. Bertin Burgos, 28, of North Bergen, was arrested on an open warrant out of Passaic for failure to appear for the original offense of driving with a suspended license and/or registration. He was released with a new court date. Responding officers included Sgt. Danie Grossi, Sgt. Michael Straten, and Police Officers Vincent Guastini, and Carmen Benitez.

March 24, 2026, approximately 4 p.m., Hoboken Police Headquarters. Christopher Henry, 28, of Jamaica, Queens, surrendered himself on a warrant for the original charge of aggravated assault. He was additionally charged with certain persons to not have weapons and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Sgt. Tyler Soto and Police Officers Christopher Barral and Mark Mooreman were involved int the arrest and processing on the warrant. Police Officers Jennifer Lee, Elias Colon, and Remy Garcia-Marte responded to the initial report on March 18, 2026, and the case was investigated by Det. Jesse Castellano.

March 24, 2026, approximately 6:45 p.m., 300 block of Jackson Street. Jessica Gonzalez, 47, of Hoboken, was arrested on a warrant for simple assault. She was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding Officers included Sgt. Michael Losurdo, Sgt. Roary Miller, and Police Officers Enrico Gnassi, Matthew Bonanno, and Rose Kanan.

March 24, 2026, approximately 11:30 p.m., 200 block of Harrison Street. Tahjmir Mitchell, 21, of Hoboken, was arrested on multiple narcotics and weapons related charges. Justin Villafane, 21, of Hoboken, was arrested on multiple narcotics related charges. Thomas Bates, 38, of Hoboken, was arrested and charged with multiple weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, possession of prohibited ammunition, as well as resisting arrest and obstruction. All three individuals were processed at the Hoboken Police Department and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding Officers included Det. Paul Quinn, and Police Officers Mark Mooreman, Christopher Barral, Matthew Bonanno, Anthony Hochstadter, Alexander Miller, Rose Kannan, Enrico Gnassi, Ahmed Makshat, Vincent Guastini, Christopher Soto, Marvin DeJesus, Adrian Comayagua, David Smentkowski, Anthony Olivera, Alyssa Rivera, and Anthony Ingraffia. March 25, 2026, approximately 6:05 p.m., Hoboken Police Department. Shaun Katchula, 21, Kyle Garcia, 21, Steven Vega, 19, and Jack Lees, 20, all of Secaucus, were processed on charges of aggravated assault and riot/failure to disperse. All four were arrested in Secaucus, following an investigation led by Detective Paul Quinn into an assault that occurred on March 14, 2026, outside of 80 River St., during which the victim sustained serious injuries. After being processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters, all four were transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.

March 26, 2026, approximately 7:40 p.m., 100 block of Washington Street. Walter Joesph, 44, of Queens was charged with shoplifting, conspiracy, and uttering. He was found to have an open warrant out of Newark and was given a new court date for that charge. Laquita Lewis, 39, of Brooklyn, was charged with shoplifting and hindering the apprehension of another by providing transportation and issued summonses for unregistered motor vehicle, driving while unlicensed, fictitious plates, displaying a fictitious plate, and unsafe motor vehicle. She was found to have two warrants out of Mays Landing, for which she was given new court dates. Jaquon Witherspoon, 36, of Brooklyn, was charged with conspiracy. All three were released on summonses. These arrests were all made in connection to multiple shoplifting incidents at local businesses on March 26. Responding officers included Police Officers Christopher Barral, Matthew Bonanno, David Smentkowski, and Andrias Bonilla.
