
1. On 03/23/2026 at 3:15 AM, Officers from the Washington Township Police Department transported a 31-year-old male, Jalil Marcus of Williamstown, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. The warrant was issued for the charges of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at Marshall’s located at 400 Millcreek Drive on 09/15/2025. Mr. Marcus was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
2. On 03/23/2026 at 2:47 AM, the Secaucus Police Dispatch received a phone call from an individual who proceeded to make threatening statements. During the investigation, the police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway and arrested a 48-year-old female, Yelena Rukhadze of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A]. Ms. Rukhadze was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.
3. On 03/23/2026 at 11:36 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Union Police Department to take into custody a 33-year-old male, Arvel Felder of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $5,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Felder was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.
4. On 03/24/2026 at 9:28 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old male, Alexander Santana-Diaz of Paterson, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Falsifying Temporary Registration Certificates [2C:21-4.9D]. Mr. Santana-Diaz was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
5. On 03/24/2026 at 7:32 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Brandon Richardson of Carteret, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union Beach, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. Mr. Richardson was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
6. On 03/25/2026 at 12:53 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old male, Yvann Arteta of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Arteta was able to post bail for both involved warrants and was released from police custody.
7. On 03/25/2026 at 10:25 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Santander Bank located at 1322 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual who had exposed his genital area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old male, Dominick Robinson of Hamilton, NJ for Lewdness [2C:14-4B(1)]. Mr. Robinson was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Robinson was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
8. On 03/25/2026 at 5:48 PM, Secaucus Police responded took into custody a 21-year-old male, Shaun Katchula of Secaucus, NJ along with a 21-year-old male, Kyle Garcia of Secaucus, NJ, a 19-year-old male, Steven Vega of Secaucus, NJ and a 20-year-old male, Jack Lees of Secaucus, NJ. All 4 individuals were taken into custody for having outstanding warrants issued out of Hoboken, NJ with no bail. Mr. Katchula,, Mr. Garcia, Mr. Vega and Mr. Lees were issued their complaint warrants. Officers from the Hoboken Police Department responded and took custody of all 4 individuals for transport back to their authority.
9. On 03/26/2026 at 7:48 AM, Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the right lane of the Route 3 East Highway. The operator of the motor vehicle was found to be slumped over the steering wheel. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male, Jose Barrera Llivicota of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mr. Barrera Llivicota was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
10. On 03/26/2026 at 3:18 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old male, Bryan Cobos-Cueva of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Carteret, NJ in the amount of $750.00. Mr. Cobos-Cueva was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
11. On 03/26/2026 at 4:15 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Newark Police Department to take into custody a 45-year-old male, Salvatore Cutaia of Staten Island, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Cutaia was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
12. On 03/26/2026 at 9:26 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48-year-old male, Alexander Tinoco of the Jersey City for Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug [2C:35-10.5E(1)] believed to be Fluoxetine Hydrochloride. Mr. Tinoco was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
13. On 03/27/2026 at 1:08PM, Secaucus Police took custody of a 26 year old male, Quinn Simon of Union City, NJ, who had been arrested and transported to Secaucus Police HQTS by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office on an outstanding warrant for $2,000 with a 10% option. Mr. Simon was able to post bail for the involved warrant, and was released from custody pending court.
14. On 03/27/2026 at 3:16PM, Secaucus Police responded to a hotel under construction at 300 Plaza Dr. on a report of Trespassing/Burglary. Upon arrival, Officers located and arrested a 31-year-old male, Marcus Reed of Mount Laurel, NJ. Mr. Reed was charged with Burglary (2C:18-2A(1)), Theft (2C:20-3A), and Unlicensed Entry of a Structure (2C:18-3A). He was placed on a complaint summons and released from custody pending court.
15. On 03/27/2026 at 5:02PM, Secaucus Police were dispatched to the local Home Depot on a report of multiple Hispanic males concealing merchandise and shoplifting. The males had left the area prior to police arrival. Shortly thereafter, while on routine patrol in the area of 1320 Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus Police located (4) males matching the description of the shoplifters previously provided. A motor vehicle stop was conducted, at which time a 35 year-old male, Alex Mayorga-Chimbo of New York, NY, began to resist detainment and arrest, and struck a Secaucus Police Officer. Additional units arrived and arrested Mr. Eduardo Maldonado-Aguirre—a 39 year-old male out of Newark, NJ, Mr. Carlos Corte-Guanquiza—a 33 year-old male out of Corona, NY, and Mr. Carlos Syu, a 24 year-old male (non-domicile). Mr. Maldonado-Aguirre, Mr. Corte-Guanoquiza, and Mr. Syu were all charged with Shoplifting (2C:20-11(B)2) and Conspiracy (2C:5-2(A)1), placed on complaint summonses, and released from custody pending court. Mr. Mayorga-Chimbo, in addition to the charges of Shoplifting (2C:20-11(B)2) and Conspiracy (2C:5-2(A)1), was also charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer (2C:12-1B(5)(A)), Resisting Arrest by Force (2C:29-2A(3)(A)), Obstruction by Force (2C:29-1(A)), and Criminal Mischief (2C:17-3(A)(1)). Mr. Mayorga-Chimbo was charged on a complaint warrant, and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
16. On Sunday, 03/29/2026, a 31 year-old male, Rodney Mason out of North Bergen, NJ, responded to Secaucus Police HQTS to turn himself in on multiple outstanding NCIC warrants. One of these warrants was issued out of Secaucus on 03/20/2026 for (2) counts of Aggravated Assault (2C:12-1B(6)), Hindering Apprehension (2C:29-3B(4)), Eluding, (2C:29-2B), and Resisting Arrest (2C:29-2A(2)). The second warrant had been issued of out of Allenhurst, NJ. Mr. Mason was transported to the Hudson County Jail without incident.
17. On 03/29/2026 at 11:34PM, Secaucus Police took custody of a 31-year-old male, Jonathan Chazez of Jersey City, NJ, who had been arrested and transported to Secaucus Police HQTS by the Jersey City Police Department on multiple outstanding warrants out of Secaucus totaling $5,000 with a 10% option. Mr. Chavez was able to post bail for the involved warrants, and was released from custody pending court.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
