Hoboken Police Arrest Blotter: February 5, 2026 to February 11, 2026

Feb. 5, 2026, approximately 12:55 a.m., 600 block of Sixth Street. Angel Lopez, 34, of Hoboken was arrested for criminal trespassing and possession of CDS with intent to use. He was released on a summons. Responding officers included Police Officers Carmen Benitez, Donovan Ortiz, Domenick Allegretta, Anthony Olivera, and Alyssa Rivera.

Feb. 5, 2026, approximately 12:45 p.m. Roberto Cancel, 40, of the Bronx, NY, was transported to the Hoboken Police Department by Jersey City Police Officers on a warrant out of Hoboken for the original charge of use or possession with intent to use. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Officers involved included Police Officer William Vera.

Feb. 5, 2026, approximately 1:15 p.m. John Colegrove, 22, of East Hanover, arrived at Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing on charges of aggravated assault, in connection to an incident on the 50 block of Hudson Street on Dec. 28, 2025. After processing, he was released from custody.

Feb. 5, 2026, approximately 2 p.m., CVS, 59 Washington St. Taina Otero, 44, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with shoplifting. She was found to have a warrant in Wayne and transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Marc Lombardi and Arturo Gonzalez,

Feb. 6, 2026, approximately 3 a.m., McDonald’s, 234 Washington St. Andrea Ojeda, 32, of Hoboken was arrested on charges of obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest. She was also found to have two warrants out of Hoboken. She was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Michael Miranda, Anthony Olivera, Ronald Kibitlewski, and John Rodriguez.

Feb. 6, 2026, approximately 8:55 p.m., 300 block of Jackson Street. Jaden Crandel, 24, of Hoboken was arrested on a warrant for robbery in connection with an incident earlier in the day. Crandel was additionally charged with possession with intent to distribute CDS, possession with intent to distribute CDS within 500 feet of certain public property, and possession with intent to distribute CDS on or near school property, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, hindering apprehension or prosecution, possession of drug paraphernalia. Responding Officers included Sgt. Roary Miller, Detective Paul Quinn, and Police Officers Valentino Salgado, Mario Rodriguez, Alexander Miller, Joshua Campoverde, John Lawton, Shyenna Vega, and Anthony Ingraffia.

Feb. 7, 2026, approximately 2:10 a.m., Fat Taco, 33 Newark St. Angel Mercedes, 22, of East Rutherford, was arrested and charged with possession of prohibited weapons and devices. He was released on a summons. Responding officers included Sgt. Saverio Binetti and Police Officers Donovan Oritz, Anthony Olivera, and Adrian Comayagua.

Feb. 7, 2026, approximately 3:35 p.m., 1400 block of Grand Street. Elena Salzano, 50 of Hoboken, was arrested and charged with criminal mischief and theft of service. She was released on a summons. Responding officers included Police Officers Leroy Sherrill, Michael Aviles, and Teddy Santiago.

Feb. 7, 2026, approximately 5:15 p.m., Hoboken Police Headquarters. Bryan Rodriguez, 26, of Jersey City was transported to Hoboken Police headquarters by Jersey City Police on warrants out of Hoboken for the original charges of obstructing the administration of law, driving without insurance, driving without a license, and driving without vehicle registration. He also had a warrant out of North Bergen. Rodriguez was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Alexander Miller and John Lawton.

Feb. 8, 2026, approximately 2 a.m., 50 block of Newark Street. Jose Torres-Collaguazo, 22 of East Orange, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was also issued summonses for refusing breath samples, reckless driving, and parking violations. As per John’s Law, he was released into custody of a responsible party. Responding officers included Police Officers Stephen Chowanec and Zachary Guido.

Feb. 8, 2026, approximately 3 a.m., Hoboken University Medical Center. David Mejia, 29, of Jersey City was arrested and charged with simple assault. He was released on a summons. Responding officers included Police Officers Anthony Olivera and Thomas Graziano.

Feb. 8, 2026, approximately 9:50 p.m., Black Bear Bar & Grill, 205 Washington St. Dylan Davis, 29, of Jersey City was arrested for making terroristic threats and criminal mischief. He also had a warrant out of Jersey City. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Valentino Salgado, Leroy Sherill, Mario Rodriguez, and John Lawton,

Feb. 9, 2026, approximately 9:55 a.m., 500 block of Jackson Street. Jon Allison, 37, of Hoboken, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and reckless driving. As per John’s Law, Allison was released into custody of a responsible party. Responding officers included Sgt. Adam Colon and Sgt. James Barbro and Police Officers Jaydan Gonzalez, Keven Delacruz, and Aaron Font.

Feb. 10, 2026, approximately 5:30 a.m., Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield Street. James Roman, 31 of Hoboken, was arrested on three failure to appear warrants; two related to transit tickets out of Hoboken and one out of Jersey City. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding Officers included Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Anish Bhisey, David Chicara, Frank Lombardo, and Thomas Graziano.

Feb. 11, 2026, approximately 7 a.m., 300 block of Harrison Street. Angel Lopez-Sierra, 34, of Hoboken was arrested and charged with possession of CDS, possession of drug paraphernalia. He was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. Responding officers included Police Officers Anish Bhisey, David Chicara, Ricky Truppner, and Carmen Benitez.

On Feb. 11, 2026, approximately 1:40 p.m., 100 block of Park Avenue. Erik Gaybor, 43, of Hoboken was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, possession of open, unsealed alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle, and reckless driving. As per John’s Law, he was released into the custody of a responsible adult. Responding officers included Police Officers Ramon Estrella, Nicholas Losurdo, and Daniella Simone.
