1. On Dec. 11, 2025, Police Officers David Chicara and Donovan Ortiz responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., on reports of someone breaking a window. An on-scene investigation revealed a man, later identified as 22-year-old Marouane Ouardirhi of Hoboken, became irate inside the shelter, and was escorted out of the building. Once outside, he broke the glass window and headed toward Washington Street. Police Officers Aidan Gonzalez and Anish Bhisey responded to assist. Ouardirhi was located on the 300 block of Washington Street and was arrested for criminal mischief. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed before being released on a summons.
2. On Dec. 11, 2025, at approximately 3:30 p.m., Police Officers William Vera, Keven De La Cruz, and Anthony Rutkowski responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Hoboken St., on reports of an individual acting disorderly. The individual was identified as 28-year-old Isiah Moultrie of Jersey City, and on-scene investigation determined he had been screaming and acting aggressively toward other shelter residents. They located Moultrie, to escort him out of the building, and he began to scream at officers. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where he was released with a summons for disorderly conduct.
3. On Dec. 12, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Det. Connor Milne observed a man, later identified as Eric Serrano approach conduct a hand-to-hand transaction on the 300 block of Jackson Street. Det. Sgt. William Collins and Police Officer Anthony Azzoline located Serrano on the 200 block of Jackson Street. When he observed the officers, Serano dropped a clear plastic bag containing a white rocklike substance, suspected to be CDS crack cocaine. He was placed under arrest and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing. He was charged with possession of CDS and released on a summons.
4. On Dec. 12, 2025, at approximately 6 p.m., Police Officer Frank Losurdo was working outside employment near the intersection of Newark and Grove Streets, when he observed a vehicle stop at a green light, and refuse to move, when the officer directed the driver to keep moving with the flow of traffic. The vehicle began to drive straight, in a left-hand turn only lane. Officer Losurdo attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver ignored commands and also appeared to be unaware of his surroundings. The vehicle continued to travel over a painted median, through the middle of westbound and eastbound traffic. Police Officer Bianca Arroyo, also working outside employment near the intersection of Newark and Jackson Streets, stopped the vehicle. The driver, later identified as 51-year-old Jeffrey Watson of Paterson, had a strong odor of alcohol emanating from his breath, had droopy eyelids, slurred and slow speech, and had difficulty opening a bag with his document inside. A field sobriety test was performed, after which he was placed under arrest. Sgt. Roary Miller arrived on the scene to assist. Watson was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued a summons for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and failure to maintain a lane. As per John’s Law, Watson was released into the custody of a responsible party.
5. On Dec. 12, 2025, at approximately 6:10 p.m., Police Officer Mario Rodriguez processed the arrest of 46-year-old Meredith Lorenzo of Hoboken, who walked into police headquarters to surrender on a warrant for driving with a suspended license, out of East Brunswick. She was given a new court date and was released.
6. On Dec. 14, 2025, at approximately 12:05 a.m., Det. Samuel Flores and Police Officer Shelby Seickendick responded to The Pig and Parrot, 77 Hudson St., on reports of an individual trying to enter with false identification. An on-scene investigation determined the individual, later identified as 20-year-old John Shenouda of Franklin Lakes, was using someone else’s driver’s license. He was issued a special complaint for providing false government documents.
7. On Dec. 14, 2025, at approximately 3:40 a.m., Police Officers Thomas Graziano and Ronald Kibitlewski were on the 100 block of Park Avenue, when they heard loud music coming from a rooftop. During an investigation, a glass bottle was thrown at them, shattering approximately 20 feet from the officers. Sgt. Roary Miller and Police Officers Trevor Thomas, Adrian Comayagua, and Brian Kim arrived to assist. Officers went to the rooftop and located two males, later identified as 21-year-old Om Patel of Emerson and 22-year-old Angel Garcia of Emerson. They were issued summonses for disorderly conduct and released on the scene.
8. On Dec. 15, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officers Brian Kim and Ahmed Askshat responded to the American Dream Mall, 1 American Dream Way, Rutherford, to pick up 41- year-old Jonathan Peraltac of Jersey City, who was arrested there by New Jersey State Police for shoplifting, and was found to have an outstanding warrant out of Hoboken for driving while intoxicated. He also had warrants out of Wayne, East Brunswick, Millburn, Jersey City, Paramus, and Virginia. Peraltac was processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters, before being transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
9. On Dec. 15, 2025, at approximately 8:30 p.m., multiple Hoboken Police Officers responded to the 1100 block of Grand Street on reports of an assault. When they arrived, a group of individuals waved them down. An on-scene investigation determined two groups began engaging in a verbal dispute, that turned physical. One of the individuals, later identified as 29-year-old Alberto Melendez of Union City, was arrested for aggravated assault. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing.
10. On Dec. 16, 2025, at approximately 2:45 a.m., Police Officers Thomas Graziano was on patrol when he observed two individuals at the door of Hoboken Discount Liquor, 98 Willow Ave. They got into a vehicle and drove off, eventually pulling over on Clinton Street, blocking a garage entrance. Police Officer Anish Bhisey arrived to assist. When informing the driver, later identified as 31-year-old Lexys Matias of North Bergen, that she was blocking a door, they detected a strong odor of alcoholic beverages emanating from her breath and observed her speech to be slurred and slow. Sgt. Daniel Grossi and Police Officers Domenick Allegretta and Michael Miranda arrived on the scene to assist. Matias was given a field sobriety test, after which she was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and improper parking. As per John’s Law, she was released into custody of a responsible party.
11. On Dec. 16, 2025, at approximately 8 p.m., Police Officers Mario Rodriguez and Harry Montlavo responded to the Bergen County Jail to pick up 42-year-old Kevin Salamanca of North Arlington, who had outstanding warrants out of Hoboken for possession/distribution of CDS within 500 feet of public property, resisting arrest, distribution on or near school property, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to exhibit documents, and failure to stop or yield. He also had warrants out of Paterson, Passaic City, and one out of Union City. Salamanca was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on the warrants He was ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
12. On Dec. 17, 2025, at approximately 10:20 a.m., Police Officer Arturo Gonzalez, was on the 200 block of Washington Street when he was approached by an individual who was later identified as 23-year-old Justina Sanchez of Matawan. It was later discovered she had an active warrant out of Jersey City for disorderly conduct. She was provided a new court date and released on the scene.
13. On Dec. 17, 2025, at approximately 5:05 p.m., Police Officers Michael Chen, Roberto Cuevas, and Andrias Bonilla responded to 2nd Street USA, 200 Washington St., on reports of a possible shoplifting. The three individuals had left the store, but officers located a man who matched a description of one of the actors walking nearby, and tried to stop him, but he ran away despite being told many times to stop. The individual, later identified as 19-year-old Bryan Rodriguez of the Bronx, stopped running on the 100 block of Bloomfield Street, where he was arrested for obstruction. Sgt. Dennis Figueroa and Police Officers Christopher Barral and Matthew Bonanno arrived on the scene to assist. A search incident to arrest found that Rodriguez was in possession of a chef's knife. An on-scene investigation revealed Rodriguez had thrown a pair of sneakers near where he was arrested. The sneakers were located with the store tag still attached. A second individual, later identified as 24-year-old Raul Barros of New York City, who matched the description of another actor in the shoplifting, was located, and it was confirmed he was also involved in the incident. Both were arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Rodriguez was charged with unlawful possession of weapons, shoplifting, and obstructing the administration of the law. Barros was charged with shoplifting. After processing both Barros and Rodriguez were released on summonses.
14. On Dec. 17, 2025, at approximately 7:20 p.m. Police Officers Michael Chen, Christopher Barral, and Matthew Bonanno responded to the 1200 block of Washington Street on reports of a package theft, where the actor was in the basement of the building. When they arrived, they located a woman who did not live there, identified as 46-year-old Melissa Campbell of Hoboken, in the basement. Campbell was arrested for defiant trespassing, escorted out of the building, and released on the scene on a summons.
