
1. On 12/01/2025 at 6:30 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 25-year-old male, Nasir Lockhart-Carter of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Harrison, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00. Harrison did release Mr. Lockhart-Carter on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.
2. On 12/03/2025 at 1:42 PM, Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and transferred custody of a 25-year-old male, Anthony Howard of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. The warrant was issued in relation to a burglary into a motor vehicle on 10/22/2025 in the area of 101 Venture Way. After an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department, Mr. Howard was charged with Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)] and Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. Howard was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
3. On 12/04/2025 at 5:49 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44-year-old male, Daevon Lyons of Jersey City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)]. Lyons was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
4. On 12/05/2025 at 10:07 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Union County Sheriff’s Office for the purpose of taking into custody a 48-year-old male, Jeffrey Nelson of Newark, NJ. Nelson was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $7,500.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Morristown, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Nelson was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
5. On 12/05/2025 at 4:02 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 40-year-old male, Brenn McDaniel of Teaneck, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000.00 with a 10% option. McDaniel was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
6. On 12/06/2025 at 5:43 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of a possible fight in progress. During the investigation, the police arrested a 53-year-old male, Carl Varriale of Montvale, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2.2], Filing a False Police Report [2C:28-4A], Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)], Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)], Theft [2C:20-3A] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] by providing false information to the police. Varriale was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Northvale, NJ in the amount of $267.00. Mr. Varriale was released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrants issued out of Clifton, NJ and Northvale, NJ. Mr. Varriale was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
