1. On Oct. 23, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m. Police Officers Adrian Comayagua and Michael Miranda responded to the 100 block of Marshall Street, after Detective Jason Montalvo observed a man, he could identify as 51-year-old Phillip Realpe of Jersey City and knew him to have an active warrant. Sgt. John Quinones and Police Officers William Vera and Ryan Capogna also responded. The warrants were confirmed and Realpe was arrested. A search incident to arrest located a glass cylindrical pipe with white residue and burnt ends, two wax folds containing a white residue, one plastic bag containing an off-white crystalized rock substance. Realpe was transported to Hoboken Polic Headquarters, charged with possession of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia, processed on the new charges and warrants out of Hoboken, Hudson County, North Bergen, and Clifton, and ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
2. On Oct. 23, 2025, at approximately 2:20 p.m., Police Officers Ryan Capogna, Adrian Comayagua, and Michael Miranda responded to Pier C Park, 340 Sinatra Dr., on reports of a theft where a man stole a backpack from a juvenile. Police Officer Christopher Barral located a man who matched the description of the actor near the intersection of Fourth and Hudson Streets. When officers approached him, he walked away, despite them telling him to stop. The individual, later identified as 45-year-old Laron Thomas of Jersey City, was handcuffed. Sgt. Steven Kranz, Sgt. Robert Roman, and Police Officer Anthony Hochstadter arrived on the scene to assist. An on-scene investigation revealed Thomas took the backpack from a playground area and walked away despite multiple bystanders telling him to leave the bag. Thomas was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on charges of theft and obstructing the administration of law. He was also issued a summons for having an open container. Thomas was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
3. On Oct. 24, 2025, at approximately 9:20 a.m., Police Officers Christopher Barral and Dylan Archilla responded to the 400 block of Eighth Street on reports of someone sleeping in a stairwell. They located a man, later identified as 25-year-old Shakir Scott of Hoboken, sleeping on the eighth-floor landing. Scott was woken up and advised he was trespassing. It was discovered he had active warrants out of Newark, Kearny, and Winslow Township. He was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters where he was charged with defiant trespassing and processed. He was ultimately transported to the Newark Police Department and released into the custody of Newark Police.
4. On Oct. 24, 2025, at approximately 9:30 a.m., Police Officers Anthony Rutkowski responded to the 1300 block of Willow Avenue on reports of someone yelling in the street. Police Officer Christopher Hatfield responded as well, and a man who matched the description of the actor, later identified as 40-year-old Tyrone Spencer of Hoboken, was located. Police Officers Tyrone Huggins and Joseph DiMartino arrived on the scene to assist. Spencer appeared agitated and walked into the street multiple times, causing traffic issues. He became aggressive toward some of the officers. Spencer was issued a summons for disorderly conduct and released into the custody of an area hospital.
5. On Oct. 25, 2025, at approximately 12:50 a.m., Sgt. John Quinones and Police Officer Adrian Comayagua observed a man standing alone in a park on the 1000 block of Madison Street. Due to Hoboken City Ordinance requiring all parks to be closed to the public at that time, the officers approached the man, later identified as 59-year-old Angelo Gomez of Hoboken. He was issued a summons for violating the curfew in parks ordinance. It was discovered he had a warrant out of Hudson County, and he was arrested. A search located a clear glass cylindrical pipe with white residue inside and burnt ends on both sides. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Gomez was additionally charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, processed, and ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
6. On Oct. 25, 2025, at approximately 1:05 a.m. Police Officers Nicholas Losurdo and Marvin DeJesus were on patrol on the 1400 block of Willow Avenue when they observed a vehicle without headlights on traveling at a high rate of speed. When the officers turned on their lights and sirens in an attempt to pull the car over, the driver went through a red light, before stopping. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Amakar Albuja of West New York, was unable to provide a valid driver's license or vehicle registration. He had bloodshot eyes and droopy eyelids. Police Officer Ricky Truppner responded to conduct a field sobriety test, along with Sgt. Wilfredo Gomez and Police Officer Trevor Thomas. After the field sobriety test, Albuja was arrested for driving while intoxicated and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued traffic related summonses including reckless driving, failing to opey a traffic signal, and failing to drive with headlights. He was found to have warrants out of North Bergen and was given a new court date. As per John’s Law, Albuja was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
7. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 2:50 a.m., Police Officers Brandon Cappelluti and Rose Kanan responded to the 50 block of Washington Street, where Police Officers Jayden Gonzalez and David Ortiz observed an individual, later identified as 21-year-old Aaliyah Eriksen of Bayonne, approach a group of bystanders in an aggressive manner. As officers approached Eriksen, she continued to scream at the group. She was advised if she continued to act disorderly, she would be arrested. She continued her behavior, and she was arrested for disorderly conduct. She was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and released on a summons
8. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 3:20 a.m., Police Officer Marvin De Jesus was on the 50 block of Washington Street, when he observed a vehicle drive through a red light and he pulled the car over. Sgt. Michael Stratten and Police Officers Jayden Gonzalez and David Ortiz arrived on the scene to assist. The driver was identified as 24-year-old Frederick Canelo-Castro of Union City, and it was discovered his insurance and registration had expired. Canelo refused to get out of the vehicle when advised to do so. Canelo-Castro continued to refuse to get out of the car, and he was arrested for obstructing the administration of the law and resisting arrest. He was also issued two motor vehicle summonses. One of the passengers, later identified as 22-year-old Adry Perez-Camacho of Union City, was also arrested after pulling away from officers while being detained during an on-scene investigation. He was charged with obstructing the administration of the law. Both were taken to Hoboken Police Headquarters, processed, and released from custody.
9. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m., Police Officers John Lawton and Trevor Thomas responded to the area of Sixth Street and Willow Avenue on reports of a driver stopping for extended times in the middle of the street and screaming at other drivers around him. Officers located a vehicle that fit the description of the one the actor was driving. The driver was later identified as 35-year-old Tyquan Chisolm of Jersey City, and he was slurring his words. He had difficulty producing his documents including a driver's license. Sgt. Adam Colon and Police Officer Anthony Rutkowski arrived to assist. A field sobriety test was conducted, after which Chisolm was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He was additionally charged with endangering the welfare of a child, since there was a juvenile in the vehicle. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued multiple summonses including refusal to provide breath samples, reckless driving, and delaying traffic, before ultimately being transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility
10. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Police Officers Rose Kanan and Christopher Barral responded to the area of 15th Street and Willow Avenue on reports of a road rage incident, where a victim reported being sliced on his ear by the actor, who fled the scene. Hoboken EMS and Volunteer Ambulance Corps responded to assist the victim. Sgt. Roary Miller located a vehicle that matched a description of the one involved in the incident on the 1500 block of Jefferson Street. The driver also matched the description of the actor, and he was identified as 37-year-old Roger Garcia of Haledon. An on-scene investigation revealed the Garcia pulled his vehicle over on the 300 block of Washington Street to confront the other person after a traffic dispute and then slashed him before driving away. He was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. Garcia was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes. After processing, Garcia was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
11. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 7:10 p.m., Police Officers Andrias Bonilla and Kyle Seper responded to Garage B, 47 Second St., on reports of a possible drunk driver, observed by Police Officer Brian Kim who was off duty at the time. The driver, later identified as 24-year-old Brandon Russo-Cinnamea of Hasbrouck Heights, was observed to have bloodshot and water eyes, with a strong scent of alcoholic beverage emanating from his breath. He was given a field sobriety test, after which he was arrested for driving while intoxicated. A search of the vehicle located several opened alcoholic beverage cans. Russo-Cinnamea was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. He was processed and issued summonses for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, and having open containers of alcohol in a vehicle. As per John’s Law, he was released into the custody of a responsible party.
12. On Oct. 26, 2025, at approximately 11:20 p.m., Sgt. Michael Straten was working an outside employment job on the 900 block of Sinatra Drive, when he observed a man behind a gated area under construction (Union Dry Dock), which is surrounded by fences to prevent trespassers. Sgt. Francis McCourt, Sgt. Harold Milne, and Police Officers Matthew Bonanno, Marvin DeJesus, Rose Kanan, and Valentino Salgado responded to the area to assist in a search. The man was spotted outside of the fenced area and identified as 22-year-old Enrique Cespedes of Sayreville. He was issued a summons for defiant trespassing and released from the scene.
13. On Oct. 27, 2025, at approximately 9 a.m., Police Officers Anthony Rutkowski and Jennifer Lee responded the North Arlington Police Department to take custody 62-year-old Carmine Potesta of Jersey City, who had an active warrant out of Hoboken for refusing to submit fingerprints. He was transported to Hoboken, processed on the warrant, and ultimately taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility
14. On Oct. 27, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Police Officers John Rodriguez and Mario Rodriguez conducted a motor vehicle stop near the intersection of First and Harrison Streets, after observing the vehicle drive through a stop sign. The driver, later identified as 23-year-old Ahmad Bryant of Hoboken, didn’t have a license. Police Officers Alex Miller, John Lawton, and Valentino Salgado arrived on the scene to assist. It was discovered that Ahmad had an active warrant out of Jersey City for simple assault and was arrested. He was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and issued summonses for traffic violations including driving without a license and failing to come to a complete stop at a stop sign. He was released into the custody of Jersey City Police.
15. On Oct. 28, 2025, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Police Officers Harry Montalvo, Leroy Sherrill, and Anthony Rutkowski responded to ShopRite, 900 Madison St., after Sgt. Adam Colon, who was on an outside employment job, was flagged down by store employees to report a shoplifting. Store security had the actor in custody. An on-scene investigation revealed the actor, identified as 41-year-old Arsenio Mercado of Roselle Park, was seen trying to leave the store without paying approximately $30 for diapers. Mercado ran out of the store when security told him to put the items back, but they caught him outside of the store. Mercado was arrested for shoplifting. A search incident to arrest, located a glass cylindrical pipe burnt on one side and wired mesh on the inside, push rods, a wax fold, and a small plastic container all used to smoke CDS. Mercado was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters and processed on charges of shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Center.
16. On Oct. 28, 2025, at approximately 6:55 p.m., Police Officers John Rodriguez and Shyenna Vega responded to the Hoboken Public Library, 500 Park Ave., on reports of two people in an argument. An on-scene investigation revealed a man, later identified as 36-year-old Joshua Jackson of Jersey City, got into an argument with another person. He was located outside and appeared agitated. When officers questioned him, Jackson was uncooperative and gave minimal information, before running away on foot. Officers quickly caught up with him, and he resisted arrest. He continued to be aggressive and resistant even after being placed in handcuffs and in the patrol car, where he broke a window by kicking it. Capt. David Olivera, Sgt. Francis McCourt, Sgt. Dennis Figueroa, and Police Officers Enrico Gnassi, Michael Chen, Alyssa Rivera, and Raymond Calderon responded to assist. Jackson was transported to an area hospital, where he continued to behave disorderly and aggressively, including putting glass from the window in his mouth and then spitting at officers and hospital staff. He also threatened hospital staff. He was charged with obstruction of law enforcement, resisting arrest by flight, resisting arrest by force, aggravated assault to law enforcement officers, aggravated assault by throwing bodily fluids, criminal mischief, making terroristic threats, possession of a weapon, and unlawful possession of a weapon. While at the hospital, he broke a bed. He was later additionally charged with failure to fingerprint. Jackson was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
17. On Oct. 29, 2025, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Police Officers Valentino Salgado and Mario Rodriguez, observed a vehicle traveling south on Willow Avenue near Third Street, at a high rate of speed. They also observed all of the windows to be heavily tinted. They conducted a motor vehicle stop on the 200 block of Willow Avenue. They approached the driver, later identified as 31-year-old Demario Moody of Newark, and observed his speech and actions to be slow and delayed. Officers also observed his eyes to be watery and bloodshot, and smelled an alcoholic beverage emanating from Moody’s breath. Police Officer Roberto Cuevas arrived on the scene to conduct a standardized field sobriety test, after which he was arrested for driving while intoxicated. A search of his car located open alcoholic beverage containers. Moody was transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters for processing on the driving while intoxicated charge. He was issued summonses for reckless driving and having tinted windows. As per John’s Law, he was released into custody of a responsible party.
