The Town of Secaucus is currently seeking reliable and responsible individuals to serve as part-time, on-call Crossing Guards for the Secaucus school district. This position follows the school calendar and serves as coverage when regular Crossing Guards are unavailable due to illness, personal time, vacation, or during special events that require additional staffing
Rate of $20.00 / Hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students and pedestrians in safely crossing streets near schools and designated crossings.
- Ensure traffic safety by following established procedures and town regulations.
- Maintain a visible presence and exercise sound judgment during school hours and special events.
Requirements:
- Must be available on an on-call basis.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, etc.).
