On Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at approximately 8:40AM, our agency was alerted to an incident of vandalism at Temple Sinai, located at 1 Engle Street. Patrol officers responded and spoke with representatives from the Temple who pointed out a defaced Israeli flag located on the southeast corner of their property. Patrol officers observed an Israeli flag that had damage consistent with burn marks and or being melted by a flame source. Officers spoke with representatives of Temple Sinai who were working to narrow down a potential time frame for when the damage occurred.
