Secaucus Police Blotter: August 25, 2025 to August 31, 2025

On 08/25/2025 at 7:57 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 37-year-old male, Aloye Inofomoh of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Bernards Township, NJ in the amount of $1,000.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00. Both the Bernards Township and Newark did release Mr. Inofomoh on his own recognizance pending future court dates. Mr. Inofomoh was issued 4 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On 08/26/2025 at 1:01 AM, Secaucus Police responded to the area of Valley Court on a report of an individual being assaulted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 60-year-old male, Angelo Distazio of Nutley, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(2)], Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose [2C:39-4D] and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], for utilizing a knife during the assault. Mr. Distazio was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Montclair, NJ in the amount of $1,500.00. The Montclair Police Department did recall the outstanding warrant that was issued out of their agency. Mr. Distazio was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/26/2025 at 11:00 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to an assault that occurred during a road rage incident on 08/06/2025 in the area of Hagan Place, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Christian Estupinan of Secaucus, NJ for Aggravated Assault [2C:12-1B(7)]. Mr. Estupinan was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Estupinan was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/28/2025 at 8:35 AM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a fraudulent use of a credit card that occurred on 06/23/2025, the police responded to Elizabeth, NJ and arrested a 22-year-old male, Carlos Llerena Bustamante of Elizabeth, NJ for Unlawful Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. Mr. Llerena Bustamante was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/28/2025 at 1:35 PM, in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card that occurred on 03/04/2025 at Marshall’s located at 400 Park Plaza Drive, the police arrested a 30-year-old male, Christopher Greco of Secaucus, NJ for Unlawful Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H]. Mr. Greco was arrested at Secaucus Police Headquarters located at 1203 Paterson Plank Road. Mr. Greco was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/28/2025 at 4:02 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the 300 block of Clarendon Street on knowledge that an individual at that location had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 46-year-old male, Ramon Negron of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ with no bail. Mr. Negron was subsequently transported to the Union City Police Department.

On 08/29/2025 at 10:02 AM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 38-year-old male, Deeon Walker of Hoboken, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Walker was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Walker was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently released into the custody of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Department.

On 08/29/2025 at 12:46 PM, during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year-old male, Melqui Batista-Diaz of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Mount Laurel, NJ in the amount of $750.00 along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood park, NJ in the amount of $750.00 with a 10% option and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $500.00. Mr. Batista-Diaz was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Mount Laurel, NJ and Elmwood Park, NJ. Mr. Batista-Diaz was released on his own recognizance in relation to the outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ, pending a future court date. Mr. Batista-Diaz was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On 08/29/2025 at 10:01 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department to take into custody a 58-year-old male, Jose Vazquez of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000.00 with a 10% option. Mr. Vazquez was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/30/2025 at 1:33 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 45-year-old female, Nytieah Morgan of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Ms. Morgan was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On 08/30/2025 at 2:38 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Bergen County Jail to take into custody a 29-year-old female, Nyasia Pencile of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $10,000.00 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union, NJ in the amount of $2,500.00. Ms. Pencile was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On 08/30/2025 at 11:44 PM, Secaucus Police responded to the Red Roof Inn located at 15 Meadowlands Parkway on a report of an unruly guest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old male, Michael Cutler of Waco, GA for Possession of CDS believed to be Cocaine [2C:35-10A(1)]. Mr. Cutler was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
