Masseur Charged With Sexual Assault at Edgewater Spa

Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 55-year-old DONG H. OH of Teaneck, NJ on the charge of sexual assault. This charge is the result of an investigation conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Chief Matthew Finck, and the Edgewater Police Department, under the direction of Chief Donald Martin.

On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, the Edgewater Police Department contacted the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit regarding an alleged sexual assault that occurred the previous day at the SoJo Spa Club in Edgewater, NJ. An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Edgewater Police Department revealed that DONG H. OH sexually assaulted an adult female customer while performing a massage at the spa in Edgewater, NJ.

As a result of the investigation, on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, DONG H. OH was arrested in Edgewater, NJ and charged with second-degree sexual assault, N.J.S.A. 2C:14-2c. DONG H. OH was remanded to the Bergen County Jail pending a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ.

Prosecutor Musella states that the charge is merely an accusation, and that the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. He would like to thank the Edgewater Police Department for its assistance in this investigation.
