"Musical Migrations Across the Atlantic"

As part of the Library's Multicultural Concert Series, the trio Blue Jersey Band will present a concert titled "Musical Migrations Across the Atlantic" on Sunday, November 9 at 2:00 pm in the Allendale Community Center, 210 West Crescent Ave. They will perform a rousing program featuring Gypsy Jazz, Swing, and Bluegrass music fused with European roots. The band is comprised of Frank Ruck playing guitar, mandolin and providing vocals, Ellen Wolff Ruck playing guitar and providing vocals, and Kai Gibson playing upright bass. Registration is required and parking is limited, so carpooling is advised. This concert is funded by a grant from the Bergen County Division of Cultural & Historic Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey Council on the Arts.
