2nd Annual Parent & Me Pumpkin Picking & Farm Stand
Come to the Ho-Ho-Kus Community Garden on Friday, October 17th! Pick and decorate a pumpkin, enjoy donuts and apple cider, listen to a story read by Mr. Kevin, and have some fall fun! We'll have two 45-minute sessions starting at 3:30pm and 4:30pm. No need to register. Please come in costume!

Also... visit our farm stand (from 3:30-5:30pm) and bring home some organically grown veggies!

THE GARDEN

Veggies are aplenty at the Ho-Ho-Kus Community Garden at Borough Hall! The Garden’s mission is to bring community members together in the shared goal of growing organic produce for those who need it most. We grow, harvest, and supply fresh produce to neighbors in need in and around our community on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. The Garden’s produce is also offered to our residents on select Farm Days, with donated proceeds supporting garden operations.

The initiative relies heavily on volunteers who care for all aspects of the garden, such as planting, weeding, and harvesting, as well as those who distribute the produce. By building a network of committed volunteers, the Ho-Ho-Kus community can come together to make a difference! Training is provided; your enthusiasm and dedication are valued more than gardening expertise.

For more information, please visit the Ho-Ho-Kus Community Garden’s webpage under Community.

Use the SignUp Genius to see the dates we'll be in the garden and to volunteer to help!

If you would like to bring a group to the Garden, please reach out to communitygarden@ho-ho-kusboro.com.

Many thanks to the HHK DPW for constructing the Garden, and the local businesses and individuals who are helping support the initiative: Kuiken Brothers Company Inc., Green-Way Irrigation, CortZen Out Door Decor, SJS Lawn Care Services, Chase Garden Design, SiteOne Landscape Supply, the Portanova and Lewis families.
