We are excited to invite you to our annual Hope and Joy in Urban Education celebration! This year, we're bringing together Newark teachers and students to honor the power of voice, presence, and storytelling as revolutionary acts of joy.

We will also be introducing the launch of Pencil to Pod—a dynamic new podcast created by student teachers at Rutgers University–Newark in collaboration with Kappa Delta Pi. This powerful and interactive series amplifies the voices of aspiring educators as they navigate the challenging journey toward teacher certification and reflect on the lived experiences of student teaching.
