2025-2026 Leader Orientation for Newark Public Schools

Are you a Newark Public School staff member ready to inspire girls, spark adventures, and create unforgettable memories? Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey is excited to partner with the Newark Board of Education to bring the Girl Scout Leadership Experience with 13 select Newark Public Schools.

Leader Orientation is a required training for troop leaders participating in EXCEL After School troops.

At this session, you will:

• Learn the basics of leading a Girl Scout troop
• Discover the resources, support, and training available to you
• Explore the Girl Scout Leadership Experience and badge programs
• Connect with other new leaders and volunteers
• Get answers to all your troop-leading questions!
