Join Miss Veena for relaxing and gentle movements, while seated. We will listen to soft music in aesthetic lighting.
Weeks 1 and 3 (June 2 and 16) will draw from yoga and tai chi techniques. Weeks 2 and 4 (June 9 and 23) will derive from folk and other dance forms. We will use light props as we move, such as beach balls and sheer scarves.
This program was inspired in part by IMPROVment, a group that strives to use movement to promote wellness.
All are welcome, but registration is required for each class you wish to attend. Register for any or all class sessions. Priority is given to Rutherford residents; if you reside out of town, kindly sign up for the waiting list here. Everyone is reminded to be safe and go as far with movements as you feel comfortable.
