**_IN CASE THE TURF FIELD AT HOFSTRA PARK IS OCCUPIED FOR WHATEVER REASON WE WILL PLAY ON THE TURF FIELD IN GOFFLE BROOK PARK LOCATED AT 40 THOMAS ROAD NORTH HAWTHORNE, NJ AS AN ALTERNATIVEVE (4 MINS AWAY FROM HOFSTRA PARK) _**
**_Please take your time to review the group's guidelines and event's regulations in advance. They will be enforced at all times. The guidelines and regulations are as follows:_**
* For team matchups since we will have a head count before hand I will use a randomizer app to select the teams so when we show up we can get going.
* Games will be 2 halfs of 30-40 minutes long.
**_Basic game rules:_**
1. This is a friendly co-ed soccer group. We are playing for fun and encourage fair play.
2. Pinnies will be provided.
3. Threatening/disrespecting another player is not acceptable and will not be welcomed.
4. No slide tackles/deliberate hand balls. Competitive play is welcomed but any excessive rough housing and any flagrant foul from any individual will not be tolerated.
5. Fouls within the penalty box be handled by a penalty kick.
6. We will play on artificial turf field so players MUST wear turf shoes or sneakers. NO CLEATS please.
7. PLEASE DO NOT leave plastic water bottles / garbage laying around the field.
8. Please arrive on time. Players arriving past the kick-off time can be replaced by waitlisted players.
9. Please change your RSVP as soon as possible in order to allow other waitlisted players access to events.
10. Should you feel sick or concerned about your health, we encourage that MeetUp members take precaution and avoid attending event.
