This is a long hike over a variety of terrain. We'll start from the parking lot on Tulip Springs Rd where there is a porta-potty.

From there we take the Rahway White Trail along the Rahway River to Campbells Pond. Then we continue passing Diamond Hill Pond and descending down to the Lenape Yellow Trail. That will climb back up gaining back the elevation we dropped up to an overlook used by George Washington to view British troops during the war. Also, there is a bathroom. Then we travel on the Crest Trail, traversing on the Grassy Trail to the Pingry Trail. We take that all the way to Hemlock Falls where we have lunch.

After lunch, we have a brief hike to see Hobble Falls, then head back to one more loop. This loop will be the easier part of the hike and takes us by the Turtle Back Zoo and then back to our cars. If the weather is nice maybe we'll see some critters out and about in their enclosures?

Bring food, water, rain gear, and poles if you use them. Rain will cancel on this one as it would make it very muddy and slippery (bring your gear anyway). If you need to contact me my cell is 609-471-4119, but I don't get great reception in the parking lot.
