Mah Jongg for Beginners

Ready to dive into the timeless game of strategy and skill?

In Beginner Mah Jongg, you'll learn the basics of the American version of this classic game in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. With only 10 participants per class, you'll get plenty of personal attention and hands-on practice to sharpen your skills. This course is perfect for adult beginners looking to master the game while enjoying the company of fellow learners.

Before registering, please consider the following:

• Spots are limited. There is a 10-person maximum.
• There will be 5 Sessions in total: May 7, May 14, May 21, May 28, and June 4.
• Participants are expected to attend all sessions.
• Preference will be given to new students who have not taken mah jongg classes before.

How to register:

• Registering once registers you for the entire 5-week session.
• Priority registration for Hasbrouck Heights library cardholders starts Thursday, April 16th at 10:00 am.
• Regular registration for non-Hasbrouck Heights cardholders starts on Thursday, April 30th. Any non-HH registrations made before this date will be cancelled, and said patrons will need to register again on the designated date.
