In honor of Autism Acceptance Month, join us for a special documentary screening of An Open Door: Temple Grandin, an intimate and uplifting documentary celebrating the groundbreaking life of Dr. Temple Grandin. Directed by award-winning filmmaker John Barnhardt and Colorado State University, the film explores how Dr. Grandin's unique "visual thinking" as an autistic person revolutionized humane livestock handling and transformed the agricultural industry. Through personal interviews and archival footage, the documentary highlights her 75-year journey from a child diagnosed with autism to a world-renowned animal scientist and neurodiversity advocate. An Open Door is a powerful reminder that neurodiversity is not a limitation, it's an asset.
