"Crazy Bird Lady" a staged reading

Enjoy a staged reading of the original play "Crazy Bird Lady" by award-winning NJ playwright Chris Widney on Sunday, April 19 at 2:00 pm in the Allendale Community Center. Set against the backdrop of Allendale's Celery Farm Nature Preserve, this poignant and funny play focuses on an elderly and eccentric birdwatcher (Everly) and the bond she forms with a troubled teenager (Robin). Everly offers Robin advice on how to cope with life while bird calls and nature flourish in the background. Registration is required.
