Alan Shepard - First American in Space 65th Anniversary.
May 5, 7-8pm (Tuesday)
Local Space Expert Joe Lennox will take us along on Alan Shepard’s’ historic flight into the unknown—a fiery, heart-pounding mission that proved the United States could reach space and return. In just minutes, Shepard rode a pillar of flame beyond Earth’s atmosphere, breaking barriers of fear and physics. Freedom 7 wasn’t just a flight; it was a declaration of courage, ingenuity, and the unstoppable drive to explore the final frontier. This program is for 16+. Registration begins on April 13.
