Muneer Nasser Trio--Miles Davis & John Coltrane 2026: 100th Birthday Tribute

2026 marks the 100th birthday of jazz legends Miles Davis (5/26) and John Coltrane (9/23). Join Englewood native Muneer Nasser and his trio on for a special tribute celebrating their groundbreaking music and enduring influence. With live performances from the trio and insights into their remarkable lives, Muneer—son of the late acclaimed jazz bassist Jamil Nasser, as well as a musician, author, and historian—brings a personal and deeply informed perspective on two of jazz’s most iconic figures.

This concert will be held on the library's front plaza. You need to bring your own chair and/or blanket.

In case of rain, the concert will be held indoor on the library's main floor.
