Musical Storytime with Mr. Corbitt

Musical Storytime is a high-energy and heartfelt storytime/concert hybrid for young children and their grown-ups. Mr. Corbitt reads and sings picture books based on popular songs from the genres of rock, reggae, country, disco, jazz, soul, and more. Each page's colorful illustrations tell the story of the lyrics, like "Let's Dance" by David Bowie, "One Love" by Bob Marley, and "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor, just to name a few. Mr. Corbitt brings enough maracas and shakers for each child to have a pair throughout the program. In between these musical storybooks, Mr. Corbitt leads the audience in interactive singalongs of nursery rhymes and children's tunes.
