Kids can! Volunteering to celebrate the 2026 Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service

Ages 5 and up, registration is required for each (child) participant

We are going to be celebrating the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and learning how kids can make a positive difference in our world through volunteering. We will be assembling snack packs and toiletry kits for local organizations as well as using our creative skills to artwork for people in need of a smile.

We are also going to be collecting toys (in good condition), coats, nonperishable food, and clothes for donation - please bring something if you would like!

Please note: there is a two strike policy for all who register for programs and no call/no show.

Additionally, repeated last-minute (within three days of the program) cancellations (three or more occurrences within a two month period) will also result in a strike.

After two strikes, you will not be able to register for programs for six months.

While we welcome out of town patrons whenever possible, priority will be given to Allendale residents for waitlisted events. This may result in cancellation of registrations for out of town patrons.
