Join acclaimed entertainment Historian John Kenrick for a revealing and deep exploration of the life and career of the legendary comic talent, Mel Brooks. Born in Brooklyn in 1926, Brooks career as a comedian, actor, director, voice over artist, songwriter and producer has spanned over 75 years of entertainment, netting him the rare EGOT award cycle and multiple generations of fans.
John Kenrick has worked in the theatre at every level from amateur to Broadway. He has taught musical theatre history courses at NYU, The New School, and Philadelphia’s University of the Arts. John’s books include “Musical Theatre: A History”, and he is the creator of the educational website Musicals101.com.
