Stitch a fallen hem, darn a sweater, mend a seam and feel empowered to repair your own clothing!
Come learn basic hand sewing techniques with the sewing team of the Glen Ridge Repair Cafe.
Please bring your own items in need of mending and sewing supplies if you have them. We will be covering the following skills: reattaching a button, using a blind stitch to fix a hem, using a ladder stitch to mend a hole in a seam, and basic darning to repair holes in knitted items like sweaters.
