Come to the Louise Childs Library to curl up with a story followed be a fun STEM activity! This session we will learn about snowflakes and symmetry.
Together we will read Snowflake Bentley by Jacqueline Briggs Martin, the true story of a man who loved snowflakes and discovered that every one is different. After the story, kids will do a STEM-inspired craft where they’ll explore snowflakes, patterns, and symmetry while creating their very own one-of-a-kind snowflake to take home. Recommended for ages 6-10.
