Maker's Day Egg Drop

Oh no! Ms. Cara has some eggs that she's going to throw out the window of Franklin Branch Library, and she needs some help to keep them safe!

Each participant will receive the same kit of materials and a half-hour to design and assemble their egg protection devices.

Then, all participants will head outside to watch Ms. Cara drop the devices from the community room window, on the second story! We'll see whose designs protect the eggs the best.

Parachutes, cushions, gliders.... it's up to you to keep the eggs from cracking!

Registration is required to reserve your kit and an egg. This event is intended for ages 9-17.
