But when war erupts overnight, killing his mother and grandfather, Artem and his little brother are forced to flee across a devastated country in hopes of finding their father. As they struggle to survive, Artem confronts both the terror around him and the truth of who he is. The Sunflower Boys is a haunting coming-of-age story about young queer love, lost innocence, and the fierce will to endure.
