Led by a Glen Rock teen, Science in Art is a 4-week once-a-week program for an hour that introduces elementary and middle school students to biology and environmental science through artistic exploration. Each session focuses on a core scientific theme and turns it into a hands-on, creative art project. The goal is to introduce kids to having a curious mindset and foster visual thinking.
11/5 Session 1: Inside Out - Drawing the Human Body
11/12 Session 2: BioPatterns - Nature's Secret Geometry
11/19 Session 3: Microscopic Masterpieces - Painting the Hidden World
12/3 Session 4: Microbes, Myths, & Monsters
For ages 8-13. Registration is required. One registration will sign you up for all four sessions.
