Join us for an evening of poetry as Lyndhurst native Pamela Hughes reads from her newest book of poems, Femistry. It is described as a chemical marriage of reactions and actions that honor the everyday and sacred lives of women. The feminist narrative builds with each of Hughes’s serious or seriously playful speakers— an array of women and girls at play, pray, prey, and protest—of women in nature that set a path towards awareness. Light refreshments will be served.
