Teacher Glen Coleman presents "“Teaching (or doing anything) in The New Crazy” on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 p.m. in Room 2.
The goal of this conversation is to give members within the community the opportunity to share their personal experiences of what it is like to live in a moment of profound technological and societal change. Coleman's hope is for participants to feel a sense of community. By moderating these conversations in NJ, NY, and PA — in libraries, homes, and businesses — he has learned that face-to-face conversation about personal experiences help people feel a sense of belonging.
This conversation is inspired by his book, Teaching in The New Crazy: On Thriving in an Overwhelming, Politicized, and Complicated World”
Each participant will get a free book. We may read excerpts to fuel the conversation. There will be NO sales or sales-pitch in any way during the event.
